As a Client Services Coordinator, Alison supports client teams and manages client priorities to ensure teams are well equipped and prepared to execute project goals and deliver outstanding and inspiring results.
Alison’s professional background has been in management of operations and customer relations. Prior to joining Blu Skye, Alison worked as an Office Supervisor for a private management firm and as Operations Manager at a national women’s retailer. A position with a brewing company in 2008 was Alison’s glimpse into the power that businesses can have on the physical and social environment. This realization inspired her to look for a master’s program that combined business and sustainability.
Alison was awarded a MBA with a sustainable emphasis from San Francisco State University and has a BA in International Studies from University of California, San Diego. Growing up near the beach in San Diego has given Alison a deep appreciation for ocean environments and an awareness of the ocean's problems. Alison was able to explore solutions to marine conservation issues through past efforts with the Plastiki project and Surfrider’s Ocean Friendly Gardens initiative. Alison is currently part of Net Impact San Francisco Professional Chapter’s leadership team and volunteers regularly with other community organizations.
